NEW YEAR NEW HAPPENING NEW BLOG MAKEOVER

Hello all who, prior to now, may have feared me dead or lost,

I'm back into the swing of things, I think. I'm feeling pretty good, listening to some good music, doing some good stuff, done with my homework, the temp was like 6o deg today. It's been nice. Today anyhow.

Well, that paragraph before may have been an overstatement. I may not be doing so well. I'm tired all the time (fall asleep eating tired), over worked, and finding it harder to spend time alone in my head. Sigh, I suppose this is the way of things at times. I've heard it only gets tougher. I gotta buck up.

But anyhow! There have been some exciting things going on. Let's see...

Well, last semester (during which very little blogging was achieved) I learned a lot about drawing, photoshop, and most bestly: TYPOGRAPHY. oh, how I love it. So great.

This semester I'm learning even more! The great Robert Meganck is schooling me in the ways of Design (as he did with the ways of Typography), I'm taking a printmaking class (just finished my first Etching portfolio, pictures to come soon), a history class (same one as last semester since there are two parts) and (UGH) the figure drawing class with none other than Albert Epshteyn. He's tough, and will yell at you, but I can tell he's just a sweetie inside. I suspect I have much to learn from him.

In addition to classes I have a lot on my plate. I'm still working as a tour guide for the school of the arts, which pays alright. I'm pledging an arts fraternity this friday (Which I NEVER thought I'd do...), trying to schedule volunteering at a local gallery, and most importantly and amazingly: Applying to a study abroad program in TOKYO JAPAN for the summer. Ohmygosh.

I've got so much to do, which is good, but also stressful. Sometimes I just want to cuddle up and watch TV. But I can't do that often, and I guess that's ok. Or, I watch it when I'm posing for the roomie hannah (she's in the same figure drawing class as me, so we do our homework together.)

Oh my! I almost forgot, I'm also sewing lotsa aprons! This is my new endeavor. Hopefully these will sell like hotcakes. Hopefully...sigh.

Drumroll Please!

CUUUTE right?!?!?!

Now I have to come up with a cutesy name for them. I was thinking "Aprons Ahoy" but that seems too specific. What if I want to branch out? We'll see where the creative spirit takes me.

But for now, goodnight. I have an essay to write.
