Raaaaargh! Exam Week. It Started Yesterday.
Yesterday Melissa and I spent from 6-11 at bowe st. (it never closes, you just can't re-enter after 12 or before 7, but feel free to stay all night). Today however, we spent 12 hours at bowe. From 10-10 (give or take). But we got a lot done. We've covered most of our lady except for one arm, her upper shoulder area, and her head. She's not very photogenic (because the ribbon we used to cover her makes a glare and the tulle in between the cracks of ribbon is sheer.) but here are some pictures:
This was taken before we finished her arm. I swear, the ribbon looks less thrown-on in real life. It's quite beautiful actually.
A close up of the back. In between the cracks of ribbon there are fluffs of tulle coming out from inside.
Close up of tulle puff.
Here's Melissa gluing on some ribbon.
Me, far too excited (read: catatonic) about cutting ribbon.
This is my friend Catelyn wearing some wonderful glasses.
This is my unfinished self portrait that I'm working on for Bob's final.
A detail of portrait. He better like it. Flat Shapes.
Above is the actual picture for my portrait.
